For those who doubt the bible- Christians use arguments for the Christian faith- we call this Apologetics. In the 1st century- the testimony of women was not valid in official documents. Sad- but true. Now- if John were making up a story about Jesus- and he wanted everyone to believe it. He would never say Mary Magdalene was the 1st witness- because right off the bat- no one would believe it. So- why did John say this? Because it was true- see?
